Job description:
|
• To be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to Sun hardware and Solaris operating system
• Should be able to automate jobs using standard shell scripts.
• Should know how to configure volumes using Veritas Volume Manager and automate backups using Solstice Backup and Veritas Netbackup.
• Good working knowledge of SAN and NAS architectures.
• Well versed with performance analysis and troubleshooting potential bottlenecks in the system.
• Should know how to secure Solaris operating system.
• Monitor system performance and backups at regular intervals.
• Provide basic application level troubleshooting and support.
• Provide support for High end Sun servers and cluster environments
